Your key responsibilities As a Director in the Strategy and Execution practice, you will lead workstreams and engagements, translate client needs into project tasks and deliverables, manage day‑to‑day problem solving and team analytical activities, and serve as liaison between team members, Senior Directors, Partners and clients. Projects may include long‑term strategy development, acquisition assessment, cost reduction, new marketing channel strategy, educational outcomes improvement, and new business venture evaluation.
Skills and attributes for success
Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
Manage and motivate workstreams and teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
Mentor junior team members (Associate, Senior Associate, Consultant).
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 5 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with ~3 years of related work experience.
Experience with operating model strategy, cost structure strategy, enterprise strategy, strategy partnerships, new ventures, and/or business unit level strategies.
Ability to conduct detailed market, product, competitor and customer assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
Proficient in English with excellent listening, reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving, project management, organization and time‑management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Must reside in or be within commuting distance of the office location.
Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
Preferred qualifications
MBA or graduate degree with 2 years of related experience or at least 3 years of experience focusing on client advisory or strategic planning in a professional services environment.
Knowledge of leveraging firm‑approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.

What we offer you
A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $205,000 to $235,000 (US locations). Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and a wide range of paid time off.
A hybrid model: most external client‑serving roles work in person 40‑60% of the time during engagements.
