
PYA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Corporate Paralegal
to join
PYA’s Internal Legal Department and Litigation Support Team . This position supports a broad range of corporate, legal, regulatory, and litigation matters and works closely with PYA’s attorneys and business leaders. The ideal candidate is a contributing team member who communicates effectively, manages multiple priorities, maintains confidentiality, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong and trusted relationships with PYA clients and colleagues through professional, responsive, and confidential communication
Assist with drafting, reviewing, and tracking various types of contracts and legal documents
Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives, including maintaining records, policies, and internal documentation
Organize and maintain legal files and manage databases, contract management systems, and implement new legal systems
Conduct legal, risk, and regulatory research and prepare clear and concise summaries
Provide administrative support to the legal team including coordinating calendars, meetings, and communications
Assist with litigation support matters, as needed (including preparation of engagement letters, template reports, document review and indexing, etc.)
Support cross‑functional projects involving legal, compliance, and operations
Contribute to the legal team projects and initiatives, process improvements, and legal operation efficiencies
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, or professional services environment
Experience and understanding of contracts, document management and tracking, legal terminology, and legal research
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research or document management tools (e.g., Lexis, NContracts, or other contract management system)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail
Polished professionalism, with strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
