The Marketing Associate supports the growth and success of ALKEME by assisting Producers, Account Managers, and Account Executives in marketing and placing new and renewal commercial insurance business. This role gathers underwriting information, completes quotes, prepares submissions, and ensures accurate, timely documentation throughout the marketing process.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & New Business Support: Assist Producers in gathering underwriting information from prospects and clients.

Prepare complete submissions, including ACORD forms and supplemental applications.

Obtain loss runs, renewal updates, and required client documentation.

Quote new business using carrier portals, rating systems, and broker submissions.

Support the preparation of proposals, coverage comparisons, and summaries.

Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of information and tasks.

Communicate professionally with carriers, wholesalers, and underwriters to request quotes and obtain updates.

Participate in carrier meetings to stay current on appetite, products, and programs.

Documentation & Systems

Accurately document all marketing activity in the agency management system.

Maintain lead and submission details in CRM (Applied Epic) and internal tracking tools.

Ensure binding documents, proposals, and instructions are prepared and delivered accurately.

Operational Excellence

Manage multiple competing priorities while meeting required deadlines.

Assist in remarketing accounts when needed to help improve pricing or coverage.

Stay knowledgeable on industry trends, market changes, and carrier updates.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

1–5 years of commercial insurance experience preferred.

Valid Property & Casualty insurance license required (or ability to obtain).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of commercial lines insurance and underwriting fundamentals.

Familiarity with ACORD applications, carrier rating systems, and online quoting platforms.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an agency management system (Applied Epic preferred).

Working Conditions

Work is primarily office-based with extensive computer use.

Occasional travel for client or carrier meetings may be required.

This is an At-Will position with Alkeme Intermediary Holdings, LLC.
