Responsibilities Are you passionate about helping people, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service? At Berkshire Hathaway GUARD, our Customer Service Representatives are the voice of our company. You’ll be the trusted connection between our insureds, agents, and partners—providing clarity, confidence, and outstanding support with every call.

What You’ll Do

Be the first point of contact for insureds, agents, providers, claimants, vendors, and other callers via inbound and outbound phone calls

Answer questions about our insurance products and services with clarity and professionalism

Take ownership of each interaction, aiming for first‑contact resolution whenever possible

Resolve inquiries or smoothly elevate complex issues to the right team

Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records

Use our systems, tools, and knowledge resources to deliver timely, accurate information

Consistently provide polite, courteous, and empathetic service—even in challenging situations

Share customer feedback to help us continuously improve our service experience

Qualifications

Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and attention to detail are essential, along with a customer-focused approach.

Ability to work in fast‑paced environment.

Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards customer concerns.

Proficient use of a computer system and relevant software.

A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Previous call center experience preferred.

Salary Range $43,000-$61,000 (Arizona) $47,000-$67,000 (California)

The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required. The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
