Pay range: Starting at $22.56 – $25.95 (PT-6)
Location: The Town of Cohasset is seeking a High‑five Director for the Summer Program with the Recreation Department. This position reports to the Recreation Director.
Responsibilities The High 5 Director is responsible for a half‑day (9 am‑1 pm), 5‑year‑old program. (70 children, ten half‑day staff).
The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 5 through the Playground program. Activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips while ensuring a safe, supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members.

Requirements
CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.

Session 1: June 29th through July 17th – Mon‑Fri
Session 2: July 20th through August 7th – Mon‑Fri
Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22nd
