This person must be able to proactively generate new corporate, international, leisure and entertainment business through direct sales.
This role may require oversight of additional Sales Managers and Administrative Staff. Position must develop a strong account base and strengthen client relationships in order to exceed quarterly revenue goals.
Must have superior communication, presentation and time management skills.**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Deliver revenue expectations in line with overall hotel budget* Create and implements sales strategy per transient sub-segment within direct sales through historical analysis and market intelligence in order to maximize profitability* To respond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from customers, prospects and lead referrals* Sells and generates revenues within the transient market – specifically consortia’s, Independent travel agencies and Volume Corporate Accounts.* Oversees all RFPs and rate quoting.* Works closely with revenue management teams to create and implement promotions and sales driven incentives to clients in transient sales segments* Manages and maintains contracts for Consortia and Luxury Agencies in conjunction with NSO team where applicable* Schedule ongoing customer entertainment, site tours and events for potential and existing key customers* Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the volume corporate and permanent market segments.* Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads, and operational areas, and National Sales team handling transient market* Welcome permanent guests on arrival and ensure guest satisfaction, where applicable* Ensure accuracy on rate codes, rates, client info via daily arrival reports* Ability to Travel to necessary Industry/Loews Hotels Events as needed* Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls, data and comp set hotel as requested by DOS/DOSM* Oversee Neighborhood Perks program, monthly perks or other responsibilities related to the program* Work with Front Office and Billing departments to ensure proper PCI compliance and billing procedures for accounts, guests that require direct or special billing as needed and following all Loews standards* Work with CEC/VIP Desk along with Front Office with regards to reservations, special attention and VIPs* Participate and contribute to Annual Budget goals for transient market/sub-segments along with DOSM and DORM including rate guidelines for RFP season based on market knowledge, account potential, and hotel targets for growth**Supportive Functions and Responsibilities*** In addition to essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions:* Respects guidelines of confidentiality and code of ethics in all company areas. Represents Loews Hotels in a professional manner at all times.* Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times for all hotels represented* Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance* Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees* Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards and complies with required safety regulations and procedures* Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions* Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area* Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules* Recycles whenever possible* Remains current with hotel information and changes and complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards* Works on special projects as assigned**Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Superior oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lanyon, Opera, Delphi/FDC, BI reports if within Loews, Agency 360+* Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom preferred* Ability to travel as needed to industry/Loews Events.* Leadership skills and ability to train sales coordinators on any administrative functions that are required in support of role.**Education:**
