Position: We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is eager to build a career in sales and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact with prospects, driving conversations that establish trust, spark interest, and create opportunities for our Account Executive team. As a BDR, you’ll leverage your strong business acumen and excellent communication skills to identify prospect needs and position The Predictive Index as a valuable solution. You’ll be persistent and resilient in the face of objections, organized in your daily outreach, and motivated to consistently exceed quotas. We’re seeking someone who is competitive yet collaborative, able to contribute individually while lifting up the team around them. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn the art and science of sales, sharpen their business skills, and build the foundation for a successful career in consultative selling. Prospecting and sales experience is a plus but not required. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Qualifying and converting inbound and outbound leads through phone calls, email, video, and social selling Generating outbound leads through prospecting and research of target markets Scheduling demos with Account Executives for all new client opportunities Consistently achieving and exceeding daily/weekly/monthly activity targets and quota Quickly learning and articulating the value proposition of the PI platform and methodology Effectively and accurately tracking, logging, and maintaining all activity in Outreach and Salesforce SHOULD YOU APPLY? Strong track record of sales experience in a B2B software company and/or familiarity with tools like Outreach, Salesforce, and Qualified PI is headquartered in our Westwood, MA office, but we are geo-flexible / remote-friendly for candidates with the right fit for our team and organization. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The salary range for the role is $80,000 OTE annually. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and our generous benefits package (including unlimited PTO!). At The Predictive Index, we value flexibility. All PI employees have the choice to work either at our Westwood, MA headquarters, Remote, or a mix of both!
