Business Development Representative (BDR) Why Parter exists Hardware runs the world, but building it is harder than it should be. At Parter, we’re building tools for the people who build the machines of the future. We take the boring, repetitive work off their plate. Specifically in the complex world of supply chain and electronics procurement, we help teams spend more time on the creative work that actually matters.

The role As a Business Development Representative, you are the one opening doors. You aren't just booking meetings. You are the first person to show hardware and supply chain teams that there is a better way to do things. You will work closely with the founders to map out the manufacturing landscape, find the right people to talk to, and start the conversations that drive our growth. This is a foundational role where you’ll help us figure out our outreach strategy from the ground up.

What You’ll Do Find the right opportunities:

Identify and qualify new leads within the electronics, manufacturing, and hardware sectors.

Reach out:

Handle personalized outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone. You'll be targeting folks like Supply Chain Managers and Procurement Heads.

Use the tools:

We use HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Clay to stay organized and find the right people to talk to.

Speak the language:

You’ll need to understand the real-world pain points of lead times, BOM (Bill of Materials) management, and component shortages.

Collaborate:

Work side-by-side with our founders to refine how we talk about Parter based on what you’re hearing from the market.

Show up:

Join us at 1 to 2 major industry trade shows per quarter.

Requirements You know the industry:

You have at least a year of experience working in or selling to Supply Chain, Electronics, or Manufacturing. You know what a BOM is and you understand how hardware gets made.

You’re a hunter:

You enjoy the process of finding new business and aren't discouraged by a "no." You view outreach as a puzzle to solve.

You’re a great communicator:

You can hold a clear, professional conversation with a high-level procurement executive and explain the value of what we’re building.

You know the tech:

Experience with HubSpot and Sales Navigator is a must. If you’ve used Clay or other modern outreach tools, even better.

You like startups:

You thrive in the early stages of a company and are excited about building a process from scratch rather than just following a handbook.

Location:

This is an on-site role in our New York office.

Why Join Us Foundational Impact:

Be part of the team that defines Parter’s voice in the market.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive base salary and a commission structure, along with equity.

The Mission:

Help us solve the hardest problems in the world's most tangible industry.
