The Role:

The Embedded Banking Sales & Business Development Manager is a highly strategic and relationship‑driven role responsible for growing fintech/bank partnerships. This role focuses on acquiring, developing, and managing enterprise‑level clients, such as FinTechs, SaaS platforms, and technology providers, that integrate our banking products directly into their customer experiences.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of banking services with a strong understanding of API‑driven banking, embedded finance, and platform monetization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise partners, driving revenue growth while ensuring exceptional partner experience and long‑term value creation.

Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and manage embedded banking partners across fintech, SaaS, e‑commerce, and platform ecosystems, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and strategic objectives.

Lead partner engagement from initial discovery through due diligence, solution design, commercial structuring, contracting, and long‑term relationship stewardship.

Develop tailored embedded‑finance value propositions that connect partner business models with the bank’s deposit, payments, lending, and API‑based capabilities—while ensuring compliance with sponsor bank requirements.

Maintain a transparent and well‑governed partner pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and supporting responsible, sustainable revenue growth.

Gain deep insight into partner product roadmaps, operational workflows, compliance frameworks, and strategic priorities to drive adoption, expansion, and ongoing program health.

Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including compliance, BSA/AML, risk, product, operations, legal, and onboarding—to ensure partners meet regulatory expectations and integrate seamlessly into the bank’s oversight model.

Collaborate closely with product and risk teams to relay partner needs, influence roadmap decisions, and support the evolution of the bank’s embedded banking and BaaS offerings.

Stay informed on regulatory, competitive, and technological developments shaping sponsor banking, embedded finance, and digital banking to ensure programs remain compliant, competitive, and future‑

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, relationship management, or strategic partnerships within financial services, fintech, SaaS, or payments.

Strong understanding of embedded banking, BaaS, API‑driven financial products, and digital banking infrastructure.

Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and managing multi‑stakeholder relationships.

Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation skills.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.

Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with high levels of autonomy.

The hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 (base pay) per year, depending on the candidate’s job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus incentive plan will be structured based on revenue goals, with payouts up to 100% of base pay. In addition, the bank offers a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
