
Senior Art Director
Salary: $75,000 to $105,000
Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week

Role The Senior Art Director, with a heavy digital technology background, will work across two innovative future-focused health accounts. The Senior Art Director will brainstorm ideas, pitch concepts, and work collaboratively with all departments at the agency with a focused collaboration with Copy, Motion, UX, Dev, Account, and Project Management as well as collaborating with other Art Directors in the group.
Responsibilities
Develop concepts and supporting materials for 360º healthcare advertising
Work closely with copy and account services as a team player to ensure that the creative needs of your brand(s) are met
Be a brand steward: manage design, typography, overall visual identity and strategy
Assist in the selection of photographers/illustrators and work with the team to create campaigns and other supporting brand artwork
Keep creative management aware of pertinent account activity
Stay Creatively Fresh: actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, technology, general digital trends) with their teams, art department, and agency
Must be able to present ideas in an organized, professional, and effective manner
Responsible for managing workload and timelines
Maintain awareness of brand budgets
Participate in new business pitches
Have confidence and be able to establish rapport with client
Requirements
Comfortable speaking with clients and presenting ideas that are on strategy
4+ years of digital design experience
Experience collaborating with Visual Designers, Digital Strategists and Technologists
Experience being part of, and leading, agile projects of significant size and scope
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Previous agency experience
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of visual communication and conceptual skills
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint and Keynote.
Knowledge of web standards and CSS based layout parameters.
Familiarity with Figma
Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to constantly changing environments/situations and collaborate with team members
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong time-management skills, independent drive and the ability to work on multiple projects under deadline
Ability to respond professionally and positively to critical feedback but also to raise hand openly for support and help when needed
Desire to be an engaged contributor to a growing, collaborative, no-ego team whose primary focus is designing the best experiences for clients
Previous experience as a visual designer, front-end developer, interaction designer, art director or similar
Business development and proposal experience
Data visualization design experience
Experience using Generative AI platforms such as Midjourney or Firefly is a plus
