
Communications and Marketing Coordinator VISTA

The Storehouse Project is seeking a dedicated and creative AmeriCorps member to serve as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator. In this role, the member will focus on strengthening the organization’s visibility, promoting its programs and services, and increasing community engagement through various communication and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about nonprofit work, has a talent for storytelling, and is eager to develop skills in digital marketing, branding, and community outreach.
Member Duties
Branding and Storytelling: Help strengthen the organization’s brand identity by creating and sharing powerful stories that illustrate the impact of The Storehouse Project’s work in the community.
Media Relations: Assist in drafting press releases and communicating with local media outlets to promote events, campaigns, and the organization's mission.
Content Creation: Develop compelling content for The Storehouse Project’s social media platforms, websites, newsletters, and print materials to highlight programs and impact.
Social Media Management: Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence by creating engaging posts, responding to messages, and interacting with followers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Email Marketing: Create and distribute regular newsletters to keep the community, partners, and donors informed about upcoming events, success stories, and ways to get involved.
