
The Seller Technology team at Uber Delivery builds tools and experiences that support sellers and seller-facing teams at global scale. This Senior UX Designer role focuses on designing intuitive, scalable experiences that improve usability, efficiency, and clarity across complex workflows. As the first UX designer in this space, you will play a key role in shaping design strategy, setting standards, and influencing how seller experiences are built over time.
What You Will Do
Lead the design of seller and seller-facing experiences across Uber Delivery
Help define UX strategy, principles, and patterns for Seller Technology
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Enablement to shape solutions
Translate complex business requirements into clear, usable experiences
Use data, feedback, and judgment to continuously improve the seller experience
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex, workflow-driven products
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to lead design efforts end-to-end, from problem framing through delivery, in partnership with Product and Engineering
Experience influencing design outcomes across multiple stakeholders and teams Experience designing enterprise, platform, or internal tools at scale
Demonstrated systems thinking and ability to balance user needs with operational constraints
Experience contributing to or defining UX standards, patterns, or frameworks
Comfort operating autonomously and shaping direction in evolving problem spaces
Salary & Benefits For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
