The Assistant Brand Manager, Calendar & Pipeline Planning plays a critical role in supporting the development, coordination, and execution of Denny’s annual marketing calendar and innovation pipeline. This role helps ensure that every campaign, limited‑time offer (LTO), and product launch is delivered on time, on strategy, and with operational excellence.
Working closely with the Brand Manager and cross‑functional teams across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and Analytics, this role provides day‑to‑day project management, performance tracking, and communication support to bring Denny’s marketing initiatives to life.
The ideal candidate is a detail‑driven, proactive, and collaborative marketer who loves both the creative and analytical sides of brand building — and wants to grow their career within a fast‑paced, insight‑led restaurant marketing team.
Key Responsibilities Calendar & Pipeline Management
Support the Brand Manager in maintaining the national marketing calendar, tracking all key milestones and deliverables for LTOs, new product introductions, and brand campaigns.
Help coordinate go‑to‑market timelines across internal teams, ensuring creative assets, operations tools, and field communications are delivered on schedule.
Assist in documenting and updating the innovation pipeline, including tracking product concepts through testing, approval, and commercialization stages.
Partner with teams across Brand Marketing, Culinary, Creative, Operations, and Field Marketing to ensure alignment on launch readiness and executional details.
Support the collection, organization, and distribution of campaign briefs, creative assets, and promotional toolkits.
Communicate updates to stakeholders through weekly status reports, meeting recaps, and shared dashboards.
Assist in tracking performance metrics for promotions and LTOs (traffic, sales mix, ROI), summarizing key learnings for the team.
Conduct light competitive analysis and market research to inform future calendar and pipeline recommendations.
Support post‑promotion reviews and help compile learnings into easy‑to‑digest summaries for leadership and franchisees.
Help prepare presentation materials for cross‑functional and franchisee meetings.
Maintain organized documentation for calendar plans, meeting notes, and campaign updates.
Contribute ideas to improve process efficiency, collaboration, and visibility across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of marketing, brand, or project management experience – restaurant, retail, or CPG experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally and collaborating in a hybrid team environment.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with dashboards or project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, etc.).
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is Minimum: $71,000.00 – Maximum: $97,900.00
