Required Skills and Abilities:
At least one (1) year of previous experience in hotel convention services
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, banquet set‑up styles, and catering service standards
Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing, effectively handle internal and external guest relations and provide overall guest satisfaction
Job Description:
Establish rapport and build trust with clients to maintain relationships that result in repeat business
Coordinate, organize, detail and service all meetings, functions and events according to client’s requests and needs
Acquire thorough knowledge of meeting space capacities, menu items, AV equipment, meeting room set‑up styles and all details to finalize banquet event orders for meetings and catering events
Upsell food and beverage products and event services to maximize profit
Monitor in‑house group activity and provide assistance for event set up
Attend BEO meetings to discuss details of events, set‑up requirements and client requests
