
Marketing Graphic Designer – Children’s Publishing (Print-Focused)

A nationally recognized education-focused publishing and learning organization is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Visual Designer to join its in-house Integrated Design Team. This role works closely with Art Directors to support product and marketing initiatives across a large education division serving schools, educators, and students nationwide.
Long term, indefinite contract
$35-40/hr – weekly pay
35-40 hours a week
Monday through Friday
Must work in EST – 9a-5p hours
This position is
print-forward , requiring deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and strong production capabilities. While the primary focus is print design, the role will also support presentation design (PowerPoint) and select digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and production of high-quality print materials including:
Flyers, brochures, and direct mail
Classroom library collections and educator/student materials
Conference and trade show collateral
Packaging and branded assets
Ensure all print files are production-ready with strong attention to typography, layout, color accuracy, and pre-press requirements
Translate marketing and product objectives into cohesive, on-brand visual solutions
Support PowerPoint and presentation deck design with a strong eye for layout and visual storytelling
Collaborate with Art Directors and fellow designers from concept through final production
Maintain brand consistency across multiple sub-brands within the education portfolio
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Participate in weekly stand-ups and team check-ins
Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required)
Strong background in print production and pre-press processes
Exceptional typography and layout skills
Experience designing marketing collateral and product materials
PowerPoint design experience (visual storytelling, template creation, layout refinement)
Ability to move seamlessly from concept to final production files
Highly organized and able to manage concurrent deadlines
Self-motivated and collaborative
Must be available during EST business hours
