About the role
We are seeking an
Associate Manager, Performance Marketing & Commerce
to support the development and execution of integrated commerce media and performance marketing strategies across Haleon’s portfolio of brands. This role blends hands‑on paid media activation with creative and performance optimization, helping drive eCommerce sales and growth, improve marketing effectiveness, and scale learnings across brands. You will partner closely with Brand, Media, Creative, Analytics, Sales, and agency teams, acting as a key liaison of retail media capabilities, creative optimization learnings and best practices, to deliver high‑performing digital commerce campaigns, lead testing and learning agendas, and translate performance data into actionable insights.
This is a full‑time, flexible hybrid position
requiring 3 days per week in‑office , reporting to Haleon’s Warren, NJ office.
Role Responsibilities Digital Commerce
Execute digital commerce strategy, driving both eCommerce sales and shopping role of broader commerce media’s influence on brand building and overall sales.
Support planning, execution, and optimization of paid media across major retail media networks (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and others).
Manage day‑to‑day activation of search, display, and online video campaigns in partnership with agency teams.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and scale, including contributing to keyword strategy, bidding, targeting and creative testing to improve ROI.
Leverage retail media analytics tools (e.g., Amazon Marketing Cloud, Luminate) to develop reports that inform strategy and measurement.
Partner with Shopper, Brand and Media Managers on collaborative retail media planning.
Support agency management and joint business partnerships with key retail partners.
Performance Marketing
Support development and execution of testingsprints, personalization campaigns and learning agendas across paid media channels.
Partner with Media, Brand and Analytics teams, including agency partners, to optimize messaging, creative formats and target audiences.
Analyze creative, channel and audience performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support deployment of personalization frameworks (e.g., dynamic creative optimization, modular content) to tailor messaging by audience, mindset, or context.
Translate and scale creative performance results into clear, actionable recommendations for Brand teams.
Share best practices and learnings across Brands and Category teams.
Why you? Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in paid media, commerce media, and/or performance marketing (agency or client side).
Hands‑on experience with retail media platforms, especially Amazon Advertising and Walmart Connect; a must; Roundel (Target), Wags (Walgreens), Instacart, etc. experience a plus.
Experience developing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience working with media and creative agencies.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting creative testing frameworks and learning agendas.
Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud, Luminate, or similar analytics platforms.
Interest in emerging media, AI‑driven creative tools and marketing technology.
Compensation The salary range for this role is: $108,721 - $149,492 plus an annual bonus.
Location This role is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in‑office presence of 3 days per week.
