Mills Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our leadership team in Hampton, Virginia.
We operate in a premium automotive environment and are looking for a proven sales leader who understands structure, accountability, and the expectations of a high-end clientele. German luxury experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong performance backgrounds in other luxury or high-volume automotive brands (Lexus, Land Rover, premium domestic brands, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Position Overview The Sales Manager will lead daily sales operations, drive performance metrics, coach and develop sales consultants, and maintain a structured and accountable sales culture. This role requires a leader who can balance gross retention, customer satisfaction, and consistent volume performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the sales team
Desk deals and manage gross profitability
Monitor showroom traffic and digital lead performance
Drive appointment, closing, and follow-up disciplineManage inventory strategy and aging
Track KPIs and hold team accountable
Recruit, train, and develop top talent
Maintain a professional and performance-focused culture
Qualifications
3+ years of Sales Manager experience
Proven track record of performance and leadership
Experience in luxury automotive preferred
Strong CRM and digital lead management experience
Financial discipline and desking expertise
Professional leadership presence
Local Hampton Roads, VA candidates preferred.
