You will be an integral part of the
Phoenix Testlab Sales team , reporting directly within a structured sales hierarchy to the
Sales Director . Your sales campaigns will be initiated and executed in close partnership with the
NMi Group Marketing Service Centre , providing you with access to comprehensive sales tools, established brand resources, digital sales platforms, and valuable performance analytics.
We are seeking a dynamic and
results‑driven External Sales Executive
to join our team. In this field‑based role, you will be the driving force behind acquiring new customers, particularly within the
Aerospace, Military, and Defence sectors . You thrive on the challenge of opening new doors and building our presence in these high‑potential markets.
Your Tasks
Business Development & Customer Acquisition
You take the lead in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Aerospace, Military, and Defence sectors. You proactively build a strong pipeline, initiate meaningful conversations, and convert prospects into long‑term, trusted customers.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight
You continuously monitor market developments, analyse trends, and recognise emerging opportunities. Your insights help shape our strategic direction and ensure we remain competitive and forward‑looking.
Collaboration & Reporting
You work closely with internal teams and technical experts to develop tailored solutions, that address each client’s specific needs. You prepare well‑structured business proposals and provide management with clear, consistent reporting on progress and results.
Representation & Networking
You represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and within professional associations. You actively expand your national and international network to strengthen our market presence and open new channels for business growth.
Your Profile
Academic Background
You have completed a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, giving you a solid foundation for understanding both commercial and technical contexts.
Professional Experience
You bring a minimum of five years of field‑sales experience, ideally gained in technical services or complex product environments. Experience within the Aerospace, Military, or Defence sectors is a strong advantage.
Sales Excellence & Networking Strength
You are a natural networker with a proven ability to win new customers through proactive, persistent, and structured sales efforts. You know how to build trust and maintain long‑term client relationships while continuously expanding your professional network.
Communication Skills
You communicate confidently and professionally in both English and German, enabling you to operate effectively in international environments.
