Molecular Diagnostics Division AMD

we are currently looking for an experienced professional, who would like to join our commercial team in

South East Europe

as an

Account Executive.

This is a field‑based role requiring travelling across assigned territory:

Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria .

Main purpose of the job

Managing and expanding molecular diagnostic activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory

Acting as a Advisor/consultant to customers.

Retention & value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.

What You'll do

Act as trusted partner to existing customers.

Build promoters and achieve targeted retention rate.

Manage and drive development of accounts according to strategic account plan (i.e., value expansion and economic profitability).

Coordinate order, delivery, and billing.

Post‑sale customer support.

Accurate forecasting and target performance achievement.

Develop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision‑making units as well clinicians and purchasing departments.

Serve customer's requests and forward them to respective Service department on technical and applicational questions.

Become advisor/consultant to customer on lab productivity, use and/or design.

Working actively in CRM system keeping the customer data up to date, reporting in activities and market data.

Single point of contact that responds to the customer promptly.

Required qualifications and background

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business, Biology, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology preferred).

3 years of experience from laboratory diagnostics business highly desirable.

Experience from sales preferrable but not mandatory if having a strong experience from the diagnostic field.

Strong experience maintaining and developing customer relationships.

Demonstrates innovation, adaptability, and schedule flexibility.

Ability to analyze discrete issues and provide solutions, as well as to Identify missing information or recognizes underlying issues.

Living place – preferred Romania (Bucharest).

Good command of English and native Romanian a must.

Ability to travel across assigned territory (70% of time).

Driving license category B.
