Sales Manager
on behalf of our client located in
Eatontown, NJ . This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive base salary, performance-based incentive plan, and comprehensive benefits package.
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new OEM business, and managing strategic customer relationships within aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, telecom, and power electronics markets. This role works closely with engineering and executive leadership to deliver advanced, patented film capacitor solutions while supporting company growth objectives.
Basic qualifications and/or traits that the Sales Manager must possess include:
Minimum 5 years of B2B technical sales experience required.
Experience selling electronic components, passive components, power electronics, or engineered-to-order products preferred.
Experience selling into aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, or power electronics OEM markets preferred.
Strong understanding of technical manufacturing environments (AS9100 and/or ISO certified environments preferred).
Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex technical discussions.
Proven track record of revenue growth and account expansion.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
Ability to travel as required to support customer engagement and business development.
Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue and expand market share.
Identify, pursue, and secure new OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts.
Maintain and grow existing key customer relationships.
Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to align customer requirements with custom capacitor solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and performance metrics.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and technical events.
Support pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long-term agreement development.
Build and manage manufacturer representative networks as needed.
Physical and Travel Requirements of the Sales Manager:
Ability to travel domestically as required to support customer visits and industry events.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working in an office or remote environment.
Ability to present technical information in person and virtually.
