Position Summary As a Solutions Specialist at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Solutions team by:

Answer inbound calls and emails related to order issues

Conduct outbound calls related to order issues

Provide resolutions to customer inquiries regarding exchanges, returns, issues

Communicate effectively with customers and territory managers

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with customer - eligibility, refund timelines and any issues with returned items

Provide necessary labels to ensure proper return for qualified orders

Create claims with shipping provider when necessary

Maintain email log for incoming urgent requests

Ensure compliance with company policies are in place

Maintain accurate records for all return requests and related transactions

Skills and Attributes Needed to Succeed in This Role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in customer service returns

Proficiency with Microsoft systems and office software

Demonstrates patience and empathy along with an analytical, problem-solving mindset

Strong team player

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or 2 year related experience equivalent

Knowledge of call center practices

Flexibility to switch tasks when needed

Ability to work independently

Organizational skills and accuracy with numbers and details
