As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and prospecting new industrial business opportunities for the territory. Using your highly talented sales experience, you will follow Meyer’s proven sales process to prospect, uncover prospective customers’ high‑yield needs, develop a customized chemical program for them, and acquire the business.

Compensation

$70,000 base salary + commission

OTE $140,000.

Job Summary As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and prospecting new industrial business opportunities for the territory. Using your highly talented sales experience, you will follow Meyer’s proven sales process to prospect, uncover prospective customers’ high‑yield needs, develop a customized chemical program for them, and acquire the business.

Job Duties

This role is 100% focused on prospecting new business opportunities. This will include heavy cold calling and prospecting on a daily basis.

Average 6–8 scheduled sales calls per day in the field with one at home office day per week

Grow territory through acquiring new business

Administrative duties including building calendar, updating notes and entering sales orders through our CRM (Oracle Netsuite)

Travel up to 250‑mile radius in territory weekly

Potential for up to 2 overnights a month

Territory Coverage This position covers the state of Arkansas and Northern Louisiana.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years of quota‑carrying sales experience hunting and prospecting new business opportunities at a chemical company or similar industrial type industry.

Excellent leadership and strong ability to work with and indirectly manage sales support colleagues.

Excellent work history.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
