The Role Are you passionate about customer relationships and sales opportunities? Does providing recommendations based on data and analytics excite you? If this sounds like you, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Support Analyst to join our NAPA Headquarters Team to support our Commercial Sales Team segments! This integral role plays a major part in collaborating with our Major Accounts, Fleet‑Government & Integrated Business Solutions, AAA and NAPA Auto Care Teams and will focus on ensuring all segments are successfully categorized in NAPA systems. This role will also assist with program development and implementation of field resources, contract documentation and execution, along with sales reporting and rebate assistance. This fantastic role will report to a highly supportive Director of Major Accounts.

Documented workflows and KPIs in position as stated in Position Mission above

Sustain DC Direct Orders for stocking customers (e.g., Tire Kingdom, Mavis, AAA)

Successful communication flow of registration information and data between NAPA field, customers, other HQ departments and vendors as necessary to promote sales growth in all Commercial Sales Segments

Registration database reporting for all Commercial Segments for the US APG enterprise

Documents, reports, distributes, and researches information concerning Commercial Department initiatives

Manages data quality associated with Commercial Sales

Performs system administration of the management system of record

Performs periodic audits to ensure department goals are being met

Performs accurate and timely scheduled and ad hoc reporting

Provides support to the Commercial Sales team of the entire sales process including but not limited to marketing, incentives, distribution of product, reporting, and the payment process to our NAPA stores

Tracks department and company key performance indicators

More of what you'll be doing

Prepare each Company, Prospect and Affiliation in RAM so that Field and HQ Associates can update and sustain accurate RAM Registrations for Commercial Customers and enable individual account growth (e.g., Goodyear, Firestone, Waste Management, NAPA AutoCares, AAA, etc.)

Responsible for the correct EDI data in RAM for all entities (Stocking and Hot Shot)

Provides secondary assistance to HQ Teams, NAPA Field and Independent NAPA Store Owners through registration support and approval processes

Works inter‑departmentally with other GPC work teams to ensure registration database is current and accurate and downstream processes such as but not limited to Central Pay Process (CPP) are not negatively impacted by the registration database

Supports the commercial sales process by answering questions, explaining proper invoice procedures, and researching and solving issues regarding Commercial Customers at the store, NAPA DC and Divisional levels

Creates sales presentations for upper and executive management regarding major account sales key performance indicators

Creates monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports for management team to analyze various aspects of customer information. Compiles data on types of products purchased, profitability, sales opportunities, etc.

Acts as a liaison with store, product, shared services (APAR), finance, EDI, and accounting teams for execution of projects

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

1-2 years of project management experience

Willingness to learn new skills and systems and able to create, sustain and improve workflows to increase customer satisfaction and grow Commercial Sales

Knowledge/experience with NAPA's business processes as it relates to computer systems, supply chain, and products preferred

Knowledge/experience with MDM (Master Data Management) applications of RAM (Rebate Account Management) and Vistex and other supporting systems such as but not limited to TAMS, RPM, IBIZ, eVisablity, CCP (Central Pay Process), EDI Shared Services, Qlik and PeopleSoft preferred

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel (pivot tables, and vlookups) and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Access with capacity to grow Access skills

Candidate must also be able to audit projects against a standard project management process and department key performance indicators, and report‑out on the findings

Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills required. Ability to perform ad hoc analysis

Ability to interact effectively with customer and company employees at all levels of the organization

Solid written and verbal communication skills and ability to make formal presentations on a variety of work‑related topics

Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Travel is not an intended part of this job but could take place to support role in unique circumstances. Weekend and off hour work are not mandatory, but in some circumstances may be required
