In this role, you'll lead design for complex features or product areas, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and contribute to product and design strategy. Responsibilities Day to day, you will:
Lead design for complex features or product areas from concept to launch
Turn ambiguous problems into clear, simple solutions
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape direction and priorities
Create flows, prototypes, and high‑quality visuals using Slack's design system
Drive user‑centered thinking and incorporate research into your work
Provide thoughtful feedback to peers and help raise the bar for craft

Identify opportunities to improve usability, quality, and consistency

Required Qualifications (You Must Have)
5+ years of experience in product design for desktop or mobile
A strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design thinking and execution
Experience leading design for complex features or product areas
Ability to work independently and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills
Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers
Understanding of design systems and scalable product patterns
Strong communication skills and ability to influence decisions
Experience leveraging AI in your design process to explore ideas, accelerate iteration, and improve outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing productivity, collaboration, or enterprise tools
Familiarity with design systems at scale
Interest in how AI can improve everyday work
