How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) The Analytics Leader leads high-visibility projects that impact performance within the ATL Airport Customer Service operation. Projects involve measuring and analyzing current performance; designing, developing, and optimizing reports and dashboards; improving operational efficiency, productivity, and performance; identifying and implementing new processes across business functions; and creating business cases to support strategic direction.

Primary Functions

Employ advanced contemporary statistical and industrial engineering methods as required to improve operational performance; identify areas of opportunity and develop and manage process improvement projects

Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and project development

Clean and curate datasets by researching new data sources and collaborating with other business units to determine the best source for the data, aggregating views into meaningful hierarchies

Build interactive dashboards in PowerBI

Provide ad-hoc data support on complex subjects and material in an expedited manner can effectively communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience

Frequently present findings to senior leaders with minimal Manager input

Effectively utilize other team members and co-ops to complete projects and achieve objectives, as well as training and mentoring other team members in various skillsets and subjects

Practice-safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

At least 5 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns

Proficiency with Python, SAS or other similar tools and programming languages

Advanced computer, statistical analysis, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Advanced level ability to manage and troubleshoot a reporting database environment

Understanding of airport operations, technical expertise in benchmarking, six sigma, and the ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment

Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with very little instruction or supervision

Must also convey professional image with ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels of associates in a team environment

Ability to effectively manage and deliver on many projects at once within strict deadlines

Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency

Must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with PowerApps and Sharepoint is strongly desired
