About the Role:
This role is not just about tracking deadlines and formatting documents. It’s about owning the proposal process from start to finish. Organization is critical. You may be juggling multiple pursuits at once, each with its own deadlines, requirements, and teaming partners. You need to enjoy creating order out of complexity, keeping track of moving pieces, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
The proposals, presentations, and materials we send out are often a client’s first impression of Baer Engineering. Your work reflects who we are and how we operate. We want someone who understands the impact their work makes. Being responsive, delivering on time (or early), and paying attention to detail shape how we show up in the market. The right person will take pride in producing clear, thoughtful, well-organized deliverables that align with the procurement team or prime partner’s needs.
We’re also looking for someone who is eager to represent Baer Engineering in our community. Attending organization events, representing the firm at conferences, and building relationships helps create the connections that lead to work. We want someone who is comfortable talking to people with a variety of backgrounds who will listen and ask questions to understand our potential clients’ needs.
Our ideal candidate is interested in proposals and in people. If you like being at the center of moving pieces, care about quality, and want your work to directly impact whether we win projects and build strong partnerships, this role could be a great fit.
