Videographer / Editor will be responsible for producing and editing quality video content for the Los Angeles Dodgers to be used in-stadium, online and for marketing and broadcast purposes.
Strong post-production skills using the latest version of the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Audition)
Strong and demonstrable production skills, including camera operation, lighting and sound
Experience with Sony a7s, Fs5, Fx3, Fx6 and Fs7 cameras
Familiarity with DJI Ronin (S and M), and the latest GoPro cameras
Understanding how to work with lights/stands (Arri/HMI/KNO flow kits) to compose shots
Knowledge of green screen pre- and post-production workflow
Able to write a script for projects ranging from a thirty (30) second commercial to features telling the story of a former player, or a variety of in-house productions
Familiar with multiple formats of compression and export resolutions for web, TV, LED’s, and video on demand
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must include a demo reel/work samples with their application
Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography, Film Production, Marketing, or a related field
Willing and able to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Must have a valid driver’s license for duties related to this position
Five (5) plus years working in video production with a strong preference towards candidates with sports production experience
Willing and able to work onsite full-time
Self-motivated and works well under deadlines
Able to work long nights and weekends
Willing and able to travel out of state to Glendale, Arizona to support Spring Training (~February-March) for approximately ten (10) days
Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics are required
Able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
Passionate about working for a professional sports team
Exhibits positive interpersonal skills and comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships
Experience with directing talent is preferred
Experience with versioning a plus
