Pay: $15 an hour - Part-time Shift and schedule: Weekends and evenings.

Job Summary

The Marketing Assistant (Part‑Time) supports Mount Sequoyah’s Sales & Marketing efforts by helping execute digital marketing initiatives, manage content across multiple platforms, and support event promotion and audience engagement. This role works closely with internal teams to strengthen Mount Sequoyah’s digital presence, drive attendance and participation, and ensure consistent brand messaging. This position may require flexible working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Main Responsibilities

Help maximize Mount Sequoyah’s digital presence across the website, social media platforms, and email campaigns by supporting new strategies, content updates, publishing schedules, and basic maintenance.

Assist in managing Mount Sequoyah’s social media accounts by scheduling posts, drafting captions, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages as directed.

Work with the Programs team to support marketing plans and promotional strategies that increase ticket sales and participation for events, classes, and programs.

Help maintain consistency in branding, voice, and messaging across all marketing materials, advertisements, social media, email communications, and promotional content.

Work in partnership with internal teams, including Development, Operations, Programs, Events, and Hospitality, to support shared goals and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.

Support marketing efforts through photography and video creation, including capturing photos and short‑form video content.

Assist with graphic design needs, including social media graphics, email visuals, flyers, and event promotions.

Minimum Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Strong graphic design skills.

Basic photography and video editing skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.

Familiarity with common marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing tools, content management systems).
