Position Summary We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Fashion Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will help shape seasonal collections that reflect our brand’s aesthetic, modern, refined, and wearable, while meeting market demands and business goals. Your designs will support both core collections and trend-driven capsules, appealing to today’s confident, fashion-forward woman.
Key Responsibilities
Develop original design concepts and translate them into compelling seasonal collections, including sketching, draping, and technical flats.
Conduct ongoing fashion trend research and competitive analysis to inform design direction and inspire innovative product ideas.
Collaborate closely with the Design Director, product developers, merchandisers, and technical teams to ensure designs are commercially viable, on brand, and technically accurate.
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials that support design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and production requirements.
Prepare detailed tech packs, size specifications, and construction notes to support production and sampling in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
Participate in fit sessions and refine garments to ensure proper fit, silhouette, proportion, and functionality.
Present design concepts, storyboards, and seasonal direction to leadership and key stakeholders for review and approval.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in womenswear fashion design, preferably within lifestyle, contemporary, or ready-to-wear brands.
Strong sketching and illustration skills with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and a solid understanding of garment construction and pattern‑making concepts.
Deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high‑quality, market‑ready designs.
A compelling design portfolio showcasing concept‑to‑finished work that reflects a strong understanding of modern womenswear fashion.
