Title Show Set Designers / Revit Modelers
Compensation $60-110/hr (DOE)

Overview We are seeking experienced Show Set Designers / Revit Modelers to support high-profile entertainment and scenic integration projects. This role focuses on integrating show‑set environments with A/V, lighting, show control, and MEP systems within a hybrid AutoCAD/Revit workflow. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in scenic design for film, theatre, themed entertainment, or immersive environments who are comfortable working in fast‑paced studio settings with evolving design inputs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and communicate Show Set designs according to company standards and guidelines
Translate Rhino scenic geometry into coordinated Revit 3D models
Integrate A/V, lighting, show control, mechanical, and electrical systems into show‑set environments
Convert 2D AutoCAD documentation into structured 3D Revit models
Produce coordinated drawing packages from 3D models
Maintain model integrity, organization, and performance
Work across varied theming styles and artistic directions
Track and report progress against schedules and budgets
Support project leads in developing workplans, scope, and execution strategies
May supervise vendors or take field assignments with contractors
Assist in development of project scope, schedule, and integration strategies
Support Senior and Principal Show Set Designers as required
Lead-Level Responsibilities
Independently craft single “Attraction”‑level projects
Guide 2–4 supporting modelers
Establish modeling workflows and coordination standards
Lead Rhino-to-Revit integration efforts
Drive technical system integration into show environments
Time spent leading others: typically less than 25%, depending on project phase.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Scenic Design within Film, Theatre, Theme Park, or related entertainment industries
Minimum 3 years’ experience in CAD drafting (2D and 3D)
Proficient in 3D modeling using Revit and/or Rhino
Proven ability to build contract documents across varied theming styles using hand drawings, 2D AutoCAD, and 3D modeling
Experience working in hybrid CAD/Revit environments
Experience integrating technical systems (A/V, lighting, show control, MEP) into show‑set designs
Experience with BIM/IPD design and implementation strategies
Ability to manage large amounts of data, evolving inputs, and incomplete information
Strong spatial reasoning and coordination skills
Able to follow established drafting standards, policies, and procedures
Excellent communication skills; highly motivated and proactive
Assumes ownership and accountability for work
Willing to travel for extended periods when required
Preferred Qualifications
Themed entertainment, attraction, immersive exhibit, or live production experience
Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical systems in entertainment environments
Experience supervising vendors or coordinating with field contractors
Familiarity with large‑scale attraction or experiential installations
Estimated Min Rate $80.50
Estimated Max Rate $115.00
