
Summary:
This positionis responsible and accountable for dailyvegetableoilsales activity while developing and supporting relationships with the customer base. Theposition will be requiredtoidentifyand execute sales strategies and implementnew salesprograms and patterns. The position will report to theSeniorVice President– Head of Trading andCommercial Operations.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:
Cultivate customer relationships,establishingstrategic relationships with key buyers, product development, and senior management personnel
Broker prices and terms while preparing sales agreements
Oversee corn oil positions, evaluate andidentifymarket trends to maximize profitability
Coordinate and schedule day-to-daylogistics(rail and trucks)
Collaborate cross-functionally with plant personnel and oversee inventory management
Delivertimelyandaccurateweekly/monthly P&L reporting, while verifying market prices
Securetimelypayment from customers within contractual requirements and timelines
Explore and implement potential new strategies to improve network efficiency and profitability for the trade unit
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Agri-business,or similar field;formal training in agricultural commodity trading/position managementis a plus
Minimum offive(5) yearsofrelevanttradingexperience preferred
Physical agriculture products trading, transportation /shippingand arbitrage experience a plus
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications
Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly the ability to work well in a team
Experience working with diverse teams
Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and business skills
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies
Experience with risk management preferred
