
Job Description
Overview Working as Part-time Sales Development Coordinator, you will provide support to our National Accounts, Government, and Industry Specialist sales departments. This team's focus is the support of outside sales; including management, and communication of Sales Enablement resources and content. You will also support Fastenal branches by serving as a support center regarding National Accounts processes and customers. This includes answering frequent questions regarding customers' contracts and editing and publishing customer specific information on behalf of National Accounts Sales Representatives. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
Responsibilities
Providing customer service to internal stakeholders
Facilitating sales productivity to reach revenue goals
Managing and curating the content and resource library on an internal web-based platform to improve sellers\' access to resources & sales collateral
Supporting inbound calls and emails from Fastenal branches and serving as a support center in regard to National Accounts processes
Designing and editing PowerPoint presentations and data-based visualizations
Required Position Qualifications
Possess or are working towards a degree related to Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field of study OR have customer service/administrative work experience
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
Preferred Position Qualifications
Possess at least 1 year of Fastenal work experience OR have 1 year of equivalent industry experience in sales, sales enablement, marketing, training, education or support administration
Previous experience creating and editing multimedia content
Previous training or experience creating PowerPoint presentations
