We’re looking for a Boston-based Account Executive with 2+ years of PR experience who’s energized by consumer brands, culture, and storytelling. You’ll help bring integrated communications programs to life—blending media relations, influencer partnerships and social content to drive visibility, relevance, and impact. This role is ideal for someone who follows what’s happening in media, pop culture, and technology, understands how consumers discover brands today, and knows how to turn insights into earned attention.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, business, and vertical media—throughout New England and nationally.
Support the development of timely, creative pitches that tap into breaking news, trends, and cultural moments.
Identify and activate influencer and creator partnerships that amplify earned media moments and brand stories.
Monitor news, social platforms, and creator ecosystems to spot real-time opportunities for commentary and “newsjacking.”
Write clear, compelling, and on‑brand content including press releases, pitches, media alerts, briefing docs, and bylined articles.
Collaborate on social‑first and influencer‑ready messaging that resonates with modern consumers.
Use AI tools to support research, ideation, drafting, and performance analysis—while maintaining high editorial standards.
Execute and track editorial calendars, influencer outreach, and campaign deliverables.
Measure results using digital and media monitoring tools; contribute and manage coverage reports and insights that tie back to program goals.
Stay fluent in evolving platforms, formats, and tools shaping consumer discovery and engagement.
Draft social media calendars that are culturally relevant, creative and on‑brand.
Work closely with your team members to deliver high‑quality, on‑time work.
Communicate proactively with managers, flagging wins, challenges, and opportunities.
Manage billable time accurately and responsibly.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing (agency experience preferred).
A strong interest in consumer brands, media, influencers, and digital culture.
Experience with MuckRack, CreatorIQ, Qwoted and/or Sprinklr a plus!
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Curiosity about AI, emerging platforms, and how technology is reshaping communications.
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced, Boston‑based agency environment. We work on a hybrid schedule and are in-office three days a week.
What It Takes To Succeed Here
Help us improve. Become fluent in the agency’s brand and business; familiarize yourself with our teams, clients, best case work and best proposals. See a missed opportunity along the way? Call it out. Share your thoughts. Make us better.
Know what’s going on. Read/watch/listen to and then analyze and report the news that’s important to you and your clients; provide recommendations for actions that the client can/should take as a result.
Have a point of view. We’re not looking for people who agree with everything we say. We’re looking for people who think independently, believe in things important to them and can bring and defend that passion to work with them every day.
Raise your hand. Don’t wait for someone to ask you to do something; ask what you can do to help your team, our clients and our agency succeed.
Live our values. Nothing is more important. We’ll hold you to that standard and you can hold us to that standard. It’s that simple.
