Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale Distribution

Key Responsibilities
Travel within assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers
Promote and sell company products to wholesale clients, including retailers, contractors, and industrial buyers
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long‑term loyalty
Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions from the product portfolio
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and product demonstrations
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline updates
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., management, inside sales and purchasing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Provide post‑sale support and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales or equivalent, preferably in wholesale distribution or related industries
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation, and customer service
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret sales data and market trends
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
