
Position
Sales Audit Manager – Oversees accuracy and integrity of sales data and financial controls across retail locations in North America (US & Canada).
Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits of sales transactions for boutiques and leased department store locations.
Identify and investigate sales data discrepancies, including pricing, discounts, deposits, and returns.
Assist with or conduct store audits related to sales operations and summarize findings and recommendations.
Support sales‑to‑cash reconciliation with compliance efforts and outreach related to discrepancies.
Collaborate with sales, accounting, and IT to resolve POS system issues and implement new procedures.
Develop and maintain sales audit procedures and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales audit processes and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial controls or retail operations.
Experience in a multi‑location environment; retail experience is a plus.
Understanding of retail store systems, including POS, inventory management, and deposits.
Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting standards, including debit/credit transactions and general ledger management.
Internal control knowledge with emphasis on compliance, risk assessment, and policy adherence.
Experience with cash handling and end‑of‑day reconciliation for multiple payment flows.
Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills; ability to present findings to senior leadership.
Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Proven confidentiality and sound judgment in all matters.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $110k – $120k per annum (eligibility for bonus).
