Position
The Retail Financial Asset Manager is a central partner to the retail platform, reporting directly to the EVP of Retail Asset Management, and supporting the strategic, analytical, and operational decision-making across the company’s retail portfolio. This unique role offers exposure to asset management, leasing, property management, construction, and capital markets, with a particular focus on value-add initiatives, redevelopment, re-leasing strategies, and portfolio performance analytics. This position will have a high level of visibility to the executive team. This role is hybrid based in Bethesda, MD. Produce financial projections and feasibility analyses for redevelopment, value-add, and re-leasing initiatives. Prepare executive and owner level summaries and presentations on asset performance, opportunities, and risks, to executive leadership. Support and coordinate due diligence for redevelopment, acquisitions, dispositions, and capital transactions. Lead underwriting and feasibility analysis, proformas, portfolio and tenant analytics, budgeting and forecasting, and cross-functional coordination. Conduct market research related to rents, tenant sales, operating metrics, void analyses, and benchmarking. Coordinate with EVP, CFO, SVP of Leasing, Property Management, Construction, and Capital Markets to support asset strategies. Special Projects for various stakeholders in the company. Qualifications
Minimum 4 years in commercial real estate required, with exposure to
retail assets strongly preferred . Quantitative Skillset including financial analysis, underwriting, asset management, development, project management, or a combination thereof. Experience preparing financial projections, feasibility analyses, and portfolio reporting. Familiarity with acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and other capital transactions is highly desirable. Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills at all levels. Experience with market research, tenant sales analysis, and benchmarking. Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data platforms, market tools, and emerging technologies (including AI-enabled tools). Compensation
