What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Identify proper tariff classification, country of origin, and free trade agreements for products based on customs regulations
Audit customs clearance documentation and broker entry accuracy
Support value reconciliation and Foreign Trade Zone programs in collaboration with the accounting and global compliance teams
Contribute to process improvements within the trade compliance function
Coordinate global logistics activities to move goods by various transportation methods
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in trade compliance or customs brokerage
Knowledge of import/export regulations, legal codes, and government regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations
Proficiency with trade compliance software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Customs Brokers License
Experience with trade compliance software such as QuestaWeb/Descartes
