Business Development Representative Genesis Technologies is looking for Business Development Representatives who are eager and excited to kick off their sales career and join our team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude, an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
Applicants must have excellent work ethic, time management, attention to detail, and must enjoy working with our team and customers.
This is entry level position - ideal for recent college graduates or candidates with 1-2 year of sales or marketing experience.
Prior experience in Business Development or sales/ marketing of software products will be a plus.
About the Role The Business Development Representative works closely with demand generation tools and the sales team to create new account opportunities, set meetings, and build pipeline.
Use various research and prospecting strategies such as email and social to lead initial outreach to our contacts in our target audience; calling as needed.
Collaborate with the sales team and prospect for new accounts daily.
Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer.
Qualifies prospective leads before sending them to the sales team.
Keeps detailed and accurate notes of all business development activities in our CRM and Email prospecting platforms. Schedules follow-up activities as needed.
Create and execute campaigns to make use of company marketing initiatives.
Build a monthly plan on achieving a target number of opportunities for each brand and vertical.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
Experience selling software or technology services will be a plus
BA/BS degree preferred; some college accepted.
