What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Initiate and lead sales calls with targeted growers to promote FS supported seed brands
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Crop Specialists across multiple member company locations
Identify customer buying motives, handle objections, and achieve sales goals
Create comprehensive whole farm proposals to differentiate products in the market
Conduct hands‑on seed training in the field for Crop Specialists
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or Agronomy, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of agricultural sales experience with knowledge of seed and crop protection sales
Ability to train on field usage and sales proposals utilizing Precision Ag
Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Certified Crop Advisor status is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with crop protection products and their modes of action
Ability to provide effective training on crop pests and fertility recommendations
Skills in developing complete cropping solutions for large farming operations
Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills in a sales environment
Willingness to travel independently and work extended hours
