Evansville Country Club has an opening for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Evansville Country Club is a 18‑hole family‑oriented country club located in southern Indiana and founded in 1900. We have around 400 golfing members who support our agronomy department and continue to invest in the golf course and its staff. The club has a full‑time crew of 12 that expands to 25 during peak season. The Assistant at ECC will be trained to understand the responsibilities of a top‑performing Golf Course Superintendent. The candidate will be joining a hard‑working, veteran maintenance team. The course has Zoysiagrass tees and fairways; our putting surfaces are USGA spec consisting of “Pure Distinction” creeping bentgrass. The course underwent a massive renovation in 2022 that added 13 new green complexes, five new holes, a new driving range, new tennis and pickleball courts, and a short‑game practice area. It reopened in spring 2023. The irrigation system is a Toro system with Lynx central controls, partially upgraded during the renovation. ECC is a great place for a turf professional to advance their career in an environment that promotes development, leadership and strong agronomy practices.
