Stevens Point Country Club is a private, member-owned 18-hole country club located in the heart of Central Wisconsin, offering a top-rated and thoughtfully challenging golf experience in a welcoming, family-oriented environment.
The golf course was comprehensively redesigned in 2016 by Haltom-Oliphant Golf, introducing bold architectural features that enhance playability while showcasing the property’s natural beauty. Renovations included strategically redesigned bunkering, expanded and modernized tee complexes, widened fairways, restored native sandy areas, and the creation of three new golf holes, resulting in a course that is both visually striking and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.
With five sets of tees ranging from approximately 4,400 yards to nearly 7,000 yards, Stevens Point Country Club provides an engaging and accessible challenge for juniors, seniors, women, men, and competitive players alike.
Beyond the course, the Club is committed to delivering an exceptional member experience through high service standards, strong traditions, and a forward-thinking approach to golf operations and programming. Essential Responsibilities
Oversee and manage golf operations and services, working with the General Manager
Develop and implement innovative programs, events, and activities to retain membership levels.
Serve as a skilled instructor and respectable playing ability, balancing instructional needs with operational needs.
Develop and manage tournament schedules and golf activities for all members and guests, including Jr. Golf.
Drive high member satisfaction through exceptional golf experience.
Communicate effectively with the Golf Course Superintendent on course conditions and restrictions.
Lead, mentor, and/or coach golf management staff.
Execute modern management "best practices" of a high-performing club.
Enforce SPCC's policies in a firm but non-prejudicial manner.
Report directly to the General Manager.
Perform all other golf-related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
