About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced
Business Manager
with a strong background in the CPG grocery industry. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships, driving sales performance, and ensuring effective retail execution for assigned grocery brand accounts.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience within grocery retail, brokerage, or brand management and understands how consumer packaged goods brands operate at the store level. Direct CPG grocery experience is required for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned CPG brand accounts and serve as the primary client point of contact
Develop and support sales strategies, promotional planning, and retailer initiatives
Partner closely with sales and merchandising teams to ensure strong in-store execution
Review field reporting, audits, and compliance metrics to maintain brand standards
Analyze sales, distribution, and retail execution data to identify growth opportunities
Provide insights into consumer trends, competitive activity, and retailer expectations
Coordinate with internal administrative teams on reporting, billing, and client deliverables
Support new product launches and contribute to ongoing account expansion efforts
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in CPG grocery, brokerage, or brand management
Direct experience working with grocery retailers required
Strong understanding of retail execution, merchandising, and category management dynamics
Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive account performance
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Experience working with large regional grocery chains strongly preferred
