Experienced inside sales representative will be responsible for outbound prospecting, pipeline development and revenue generation within assigned territory, consisting of a set of high‑growth, high‑potential sub‑foundations at the Linux Foundation. Position Responsibilities
Develop opportunities from leads in addition to creating own pipeline primarily through outbound calls, emails and social outreach to prospects and customers. Achieve quota within assigned territory while maintaining territorial pipeline in the Foundation’s HubSpot and Salesforce CRM. Provide accurate monthly forecasting and review of business outcomes with project leaders and CRO, including win/loss analysis to iterate approach based on successes and failures. Deliver healthy weekly activity to achieve goals: calls, leads, demos, and opportunity progression. Manage sales order processing including monitoring system to ensure accurate receipt booking of membership orders and membership onboarding. Practice solution‑selling techniques and employ a consultative sales approach. Coordinate closely with the broader Linux Foundation team to achieve the Foundation's mission. Understand competitive landscape and adapt messaging and sales approach accordingly. Improve and maintain the HubSpot and Salesforce structure to ensure accurate sub‑accounts (groups/programs), opportunities, and contacts. Collaborate regionally and globally in developing and enhancing standardized processes, reports, and sales programs that facilitate efficient sales operations, effective sales execution, and improved management insight. Ensure the LF sales handbook is followed and/or modified when necessary. Qualifications
Proven Track Record Desired
Consistent achievement of quotas assigned. Experience selling via outbound prospecting and utilization of effective Salesforce and sales enablement (HubSpot) automation to achieve results. Sustained territory performance in technology sales. Building relationships internally and externally to ensure win/win customer relationships. Managing and growing pipelines within a specified territory. Consistent success in environments where minimal marketing support is required to achieve success. Team player. Position Qualifications
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Candidates must be based in the UK or EU and possess the legal right to work in their country of residence (please note: We do not have a legal entity in France and cannot accept applications from residents there). Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5 years of successful inside selling experience ideally within the technology or open source sector preferred. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Be able to travel on average one week a month to regional (Europe) and international conferences. Ability to understand and communicate technology solutions. Experience working with complex organizations. High work ethic. Unquestionable integrity. Excellent time management and organization skills. Additional Information
