CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN THE RALEIGH MARKET AREA

Dealer: Territory Account Manager Department: Short Truck Fuel & Propane Division Location: NC: Wake County

Overview The Territory Account Manager is responsible for new business development of Short Truck Fuel and Propane accounts. This person is responsible for finding, prospecting, cultivating, and closing sales opportunities which they will accomplish through mostly outside sales initiative, networking, and cold calling. In addition to selling fuel and propane, this position will also provide service project leads to the Service Director. The TAM role will ensure they are successfully managing their acquired and assigned accounts to ensure initial profitability projections are met and to ensure we are delivering upon customer service expectations. The Territory Account Manager will provide weekly reporting of their activities to their Sr. Director.

What Will I Do? This role will focus on new customer growth within their assigned territory through networking, cold calling, along with building strong relationships within our existing current customer base.

Complete new business calls daily and record all activities with a weekly recap

Complete minimum of (50) cold calls per week for new business

Complete minimum of (2) calls per week for existing business

Expand on our service through selling projects and maintenance

Meet expected gross profit monthly and annual sales goals for new and existing customer base

Meet with existing business on a quarterly basis to discuss current opportunities, volume performance, service opportunities and quality control

Attend trade shows and conferences with the expectation to expand networking

Attend safety training and seminars

Create new customer evaluation sheets for Fuel and Propane review board

Interact as needed with the Bulk Plant Managers and/or any other counterpart, to resolve any customer service opportunities, discuss marketing needs and any safety information that is needed

Attend monthly scorecard reviews at the main office

Weekly one‑on‑ones with the Sr. Director to review new business, goal tracking, marketing opportunities, safety and any other opportunities related to the Short Truck Fuel and Propane Division

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of industry experience or 3 years sales experience

Possess advanced analytical skills
