
Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to success. They supervise and motivate Product Specialists by training, coaching, and holding the team accountable. The Sales Manager's duties and responsibilities include:
Floor Managment:
Manager introduction and follow-up calls with each guest
Deal flow to F&I
Checking Axcessa daily and overseeing follow-up
Working with Trade Specialists to review appraisals.
People Management:
Completing new hire sales training checklist as well as daily coaching with all Product Specialists
Meet with sales staff to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales
Ensure all sales team members know what is expected, follow processes, and are held accountable.
Desking:
Capping out deals
Appraising customer vehicles
Dealer trades
Interacting with customers
RDR’s in Subarunet
Send nightly doc sheet
New Car Management:
Analyze and review local new car pricing weekly by checking competitor websites, reviewing TrueCar and Edmunds pricing data
Change pricing monthly or as determined by market data.
Compile and analyze sales figures including same day and overall closing reports monthly. Review performance metrics with sales people.
Set up new salespeople in dealer.com and do initial CRM training
Used Car Managment:
Analyze market conditions daily and adjust prices in VAuto.
Ensure that salespeople are informed of all used inventory and current CPO advertising efforts, including incentives and special rates
Qualifications Our ideal candidate:
Has experience with auto sales, both new and used
Leads with compassion and gets the most out of their team
Jumps into any situation and try and improve things.
Is flexible about work schedule, including Saturdays
Has a valid Utah Driver’s License and a good driving history.
