Netflix, Los Angeles, California, United States, 90079
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, boasting over 300 million paid memberships across 190 countries. Our members enjoy TV series, films, and games in various genres and languages, with the flexibility to watch anytime, anywhere.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Publishing Specialist to lead our off-platform content strategy for the prestige audience segment, focusing mainly on the Tudum Instagram account. Your efforts will be essential in enhancing Tudum's reputation and cultural impact.
You will connect our key editorial site (Tudum.com), high-priority awards-season initiatives (Netflix Awards), and our premium print/digital publication (Tudum Magazine). Your goal is to create a cohesive, elevated narrative that highlights the artistry and excellence behind our most acclaimed content, targeting a discerning, culturally-savvy audience such as cinephiles, industry insiders, and arts & culture tastemakers.
This role requires a creative editorial mindset, a discerning visual eye, and a genuine passion for filmmaking and television.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day programming, content creation (including light design/video editing), and community engagement for the Tudum Instagram account while maintaining a premium, authoritative voice.
Serve as the primary link between Tudum.com, Netflix Awards, and Tudum Magazine, developing integrated content plans that convey a unified, multi-platform narrative.
Collaborate closely with the Netflix Awards team to transform awards strategy into engaging, elevated social content during key campaign periods (Emmys, Oscars, etc.) that align with business goals.
Work with the Tudum Magazine team to create digital-first representations of print content, boosting awareness and desire for the publication.
Partner with our social creative agency to ideate and produce tailored content (graphics, video, carousels, Stories, Reels) to engage a 'prestige' audience by focusing on craft, artistry, and behind-the-scenes stories.
Oversee the Netflix Letterboxd account's strategy and daily programming.
Collaborate with Publishing Editorial, Creative Studios, and Discovery teams to ensure prestige storytelling is platform-specific, timely, and reaches the right audience at the right moment.
In partnership with the Manager, Off-Platform Strategy & Programming, manage the tactical execution of Prestige content across other platforms like Apple News and Apple Maps Guides.
Work closely with the Manager, Creators & Partnerships, to ensure that Prestige Publishing initiatives align with our brand work and creator amplification strategy.
Analyze and report on the performance of Tudum Instagram and other prestige initiatives across platforms, providing insights to enhance our approach and grow our target audience.
Stay attuned to cultural conversations, identifying relevant moments and trends for our prestige audience and content lineup.
