We're searching for a houseperson with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to help ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. We require a person who is capable of handling a wide range of duties. Responsibilities for this position include keeping hotel public areas clean, such as restrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, lobbies, parking lot, trashes and performing any other tasks assigned by managers. Our ideal applicant has at least one year of housekeeping or houseperson experience, as well as a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness in all public areas Daily cleaning and upkeep of public restrooms Vacuuming hallway corridors, lobbies, meeting space, and area rugs All sweeping and mopping of public areas Maintaining a clean and stocked pool area Cleaning of fitness equipment and stocking the fitness center with water and towels Taking out all public area trash Keeping the parking lot clean Able to perform snow shoveling duties in the winter Taking care of pet waste in the pet area Watering flowers Reporting any maintenance issues Assisting with meeting room set-up, break down, and cleaning Qualifications
Must be able to lift 35lbs Must be reliable and punctual Must be able to work unsupervised and stay on task Must possess a strong work ethic, can stay organized and have good time management Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Understanding of cleaning techniques and products preferred, but not required Compensation
