This is a high-visibility role that partners closely with our Marketing Team and leadership to assess risk, support sales growth, and ensure strong financial performance.If you thrive at the intersection of finance, analysis, and relationship management—and enjoy working in a fast-paced agricultural and manufacturing environment—we’d love to connect with you.**What You’ll Do**As a key member of the Credit team, you will:* Partner with the Marketing Team to evaluate customer creditworthiness across all AGP’s business units* Review and coordinate incoming credit applications* Pull and analyze Dun & Bradstreet reports; contact bank and trade references to support credit decisions* Assist the Director of Credit in advancing departmental initiatives and strengthening credit processes* Respond to credit reference requests for all affiliated companies* Maintain and enhance the customer database (ship-to locations, address updates, sold-to numbers, etc.)* Support the generation of credit and accounts receivable reports to inform leadership decisions* Contribute to continuous improvement of credit procedures and risk management practices**What You Bring****Knowledge & Expertise*** Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles* Working knowledge of credit procedures, practices, and applicable laws* Familiarity with agricultural production and/or manufacturing industries preferred**Skills*** Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities* Excellent organizational and planning skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting/database systems* Strong written and verbal communication skills**Abilities*** Ability to build professional relationships with senior management, internal teams, customers, and external partners* High level of accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives**Education & Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred* 3–5 years of credit or accounts receivable experience preferred* Experience in agriculture or manufacturing environments strongly preferred* Work in a stable and growing industry critical to the global supply chain* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and executive leadership* Gain exposure to complex credit structures across multiple subsidiaries* Contribute directly to protecting company assets while enabling strategic growth**Who We Are:**Ag Processing Inc is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting of oilseeds, grains, and related products.
