
JourneyTeam is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant who enjoys keeping teams organized and helping work move forward smoothly. In this role, you’ll support our CRO and technical sales team by coordinating activities, preparing for customer interactions, and removing day-to-day operational friction so they can stay focused on customers and closing opportunities. This role sits at the center of our sales process, success means our sales engineers rarely have to ask “who is coordinating this?”

Key Responsibilities: This is an ideal role for someone coming from an Assistant, Project Coordinator, or operations support background who enjoys anticipating needs, bringing structure to chaos, and taking ownership of details that make a team look polished and professional. You should be naturally helpful and collaborative but confident enough to set boundaries and not get steamrolled. Below are some key areas you will assist:
Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and preparation for Sales Engineers (DSEs) and key customer meetings
Ensure demos and solution showcases are organized and delivered smoothly and on time
Prepare demo environments and materials including documentation, data loading, and preparation checklists
Support creation and organization of Estimates of Work (EOWs) and maintain consistency across deals
Facilitate communication and alignment between Sales, DSEs, Practices, and Marketing
Track deal progress and proactively follow up to prevent delays or missed steps
Organize sales materials, product information, and competitive content for easy team access
Coordinate internal trainings and help create simple enablement resources (videos, guides, playbooks)
Support smooth handoff from presales to delivery teams
Provide operational and inbox support to remove day-to-day blockers for sales leadership
Able to anticipate needs and follow through without needing step-by-step direction.
Qualifications:
Experience in administrative support, sales operations, project coordination, or similar.
Comfortable using tools (Excel, AI assistants, documentation, etc.) to quickly solve problems, organize information, and produce clear outputs.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent follow-through.
Confident, composed communicator.
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams with shifting priorities.
Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
On site availability Monday–Friday.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary. This is the established pay range for our Sales Administrative Assistant role at JourneyTeam. Actual compensation is dependent on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities. In general, new employees can expect to start at the lower end of the range (with opportunity to grow and expand within the organization).
