
Overview
We are hiring a Service Writer in Dulles, VA. The Service Writer ensures efficient vehicle maintenance scheduling and manages orders. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
Responsibilities
Open work requests immediately upon receipt.
Close work requests immediately upon completion of quality inspection.
Run and review reports as needed.
Answer shop telephones and schedule repair appointments.
Maintain vehicle information files.
Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service.
Arrange pick-up of outside repairs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.
Strong data entry skills
Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
